Naturally, portraits in which Christy is able to meet with the subject, set up her own poses, and take photographs herself are preferable. Portraits based on this type of preparation allow the artist to chose the most natural and aesthetically pleasing poses. More importantly, a meeting between the artist and her portrait subjects allows the artist to recognize immediately a likeness when she has achieved it in one of her portraits. But if for some reason a sitting cannot be arranged, Christy can usually work with your existing photos.
